David Hasenauer is the Chief Executive Officer of Green Point Research. David is a cannabis policy expert and real estate development professional. David was an integral part of the campaign that passed Amendment 2 by a historic margin, effectively bringing medical cannabis to Florida. Subsequently, David helped craft and pass both pieces of legislation bringing industrial hemp to the state of Florida – SB 1726 (2017) and SB 1020 (2019). In addition to his role at Green Point Research, David serves on: the Florida Hemp Advisory Committee as appointed by Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried, the Medical Marijuana Advisory Board of Broward County; and as the elected President of the Hemp Industries Association of Florida.
Jordan Pace is the Chief Operating Officer of Green Point Research. In his role as COO, Jordan ensures the functionality of the business to ensure its efficient growth as a leading hemp company. Jordan has been instrumental in planning and building Green Point’s Florida, Colorado and Colombian operations, overseeing the licensing process, site selection and construction, professionals and suppliers utilized, and more. Prior to Green Point, Jordan managed the NW District of the Pompano Beach CRA, implementing a $10 million budget with thirty direct reports.
Light Townsend is the Chief Legal Officer of Green Point and works to ensure operations of the company and the work of the other executives stay compliant in this regulated industry. Prior to Green Point, Light was a management consultant overseeing business efficiency planning, management advisory, and reorganization projects for clients in the regulated industries of banking, insurance, and large law firms. Further, Light started a consulting company helping guide businesses through the claims process under the BP Deep Water Horizon Settlement. Utilizing a proprietary internal process Light developed, over $80,000,000 was recovered for his clients. Recently, Light published a book through the American Bar Association regarding the formation of captive insurance companies titled Modern Captive Insurance.
Mike Jerman is the Chief Financial Officer overseeing the financial, accounting, and treasury operations for GPR. Mike is the managing partner of Hollywell Partners, a national professional services firm with experience in startup financial and accounting leadership across multiple industries. Prior to Hollywell Partners, Mike was a director with PwC LLP in the US and UK focused on assurance and advisory clients with significant experience in debt and equity offerings and business combinations. Mike has an MBA from the University of Oxford and is a registered CPA in the state of Florida.
Michael (“Mike”) Dukes is the Director of Cannabis Operations for Green Point, leading Green Point’s cultivation and processing design and operations. Mike brings a vast wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team, having almost twenty (20) years of experience cultivating high-THC cannabis and high-CBD hemp in nearly every growing environment and medium. In addition to owning and operating a seed bank and production facility in Colorado and hemp farms in Colorado and New York, Mike has consulted and established numerous licensed cultivation and extraction facilities across the country and internationally, to include in Florida, Colorado, New York, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colombia, the Caribbean and Spain.
Vicente Thrower is the Vice President of Government and Community Affairs for Green Point, overseeing Green Point’s local government and community outreach. Vicente brings 15+ years of organizing and business development experience, along with a deep understanding of business connectivity and community relations. Building trust and relationships throughout his career has been the bedrock of Vicente’s portfolio of work while aiding political candidates, government officials, and various businesses from sectors including construction and development, healthcare, and social services. Vicente has a passion for projects that connect people to people and business to community. In addition to his work in Government and Community Affairs, Vicente heads Green Point’s minority outreach program.
Dean Myerow joins Green Point’s Board after spending a 26-year career in finance as a bond portfolio manager and public finance banker. Dean started his own investment banking firm, Bergen Capital Inc. and sold the company to BB&T Bank in 2005. Subsequent to the sale Dean remained at BB&T, where he was the head of fixed income trading for the bank’s private wealth management group for over a decade. Dean’s knowledge of private equity and public finance make him a natural addition to Green Point’s management team.
Matthew West is the Vice President of West Construction, a design/build construction firm founded in 1969 with a principal office located in Lake Worth, Florida. Under Matt’s leadership and direction, West Construction has greatly expanded operations both domestically and abroad, undertaking projects throughout Florida, the Caribbean, and Liberia / West Africa. He is a Florida Registered Architect, as well as a Certified General Contractor. Matt utilizes his expertise in domestic and international project management to assist Green Point in the development and implementation of its strategic plan.
Camilo Martinez is a serial entrepreneur with academic and practical experience in commercial and financial law who joins Green Point to lead its expansion into Colombia. After earning his law degree from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, he spent 12 years as an executive in the banking sector in Colombia, his last 3 years serving as VP of Standard Chartered Bank. In 1998, he left the financial sector to start one of South America’s first e-commerce companies Subastalink, which was acquired in 2000 by Mercadolibre (NASDAQ: MELI). Camilo then served as Mercadolibre’s Manager of the Andean Countries. Camilo’s wealth of entrepreneurial and financial experience will ensure Green Point becomes one of the leading hemp companies in Latin America.
Felipe Robayo joins Green Point after working in coffee trading for more than twenty (20) years, covering all aspects of the commodity business: from working with producers (both small and large) to exporting coffee worldwide. Felipe has worked with Kraft General Foods, a top five coffee roaster. Until last year, Felipe worked as the Commercial Manager of the Colombian Coffee Federation, an association of producers that exports 24% of the total coffee produced in Colombia. Felipe is fluent in Spanish, English, German and Portuguese. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Andes University, MA from SAIS Johns Hopkins in International Relations and a MA in Philosophy.
Dr. Robert Carson joins Green Point as a medical research partner. Dr. Carson is a Vanderbilt University medical and graduate school graduate who subsequently remained at Vanderbilt to complete his pediatric, child neurology, and clinical neurophysiology fellowship training. Dr. Carson, who currently works in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at the Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, is one of the leading researchers into cannabinoid treatment of epilepsy in children. With immense experience in the cannabinoid therapy, Dr. Carson will oversee Green Point’s patient interaction and confidentiality procedures and protocols, as well as lead its research into cannabinoid treatment of various medical conditions.
Dr. Timothy R. Corbin, USAF, PharmD joins Green Point to assist with product development and clinical research. Dr. Corbin is currently the Officer in Charge of Wilford Hall Outpatient Pharmacy for the 59th Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland Air Force Base. As Officer in Charge of one of the Air Force’s largest pharmacies, Dr. Corbin oversees a $51 million budget, forty-five daily pharmacy personnel, and 30,000 monthly prescriptions. Combined with his research and presentations on cannabinoid treatment of various ailments, in particular pain and the opioid epidemic, Dr. Corbin provides Green Point invaluable insight into practical cannabinoid treatment and product development.
